When installing a plug on to a power cord:

If a tool's heater tube gets wet:
It is recommended the BITUMAT be run with the temperature dial lower than 9, and not at 9 or 10.
Before turning the tool on, check the following:
Changing the element in a TRIAC.
Carry the TRIAC by the handle, not by the cord.
If the filter at the back of the handle is plugged, air cannot flow through the tool.
When changing motor brushes, clean the brush holders with a cotton swab and contact cleaner.
