Packaging Applications
STANMECH chooses from a suite of equipment including Leister’s range of hot air heaters, blowers, and hot air hand tools and JetAir’s range of direct-drive blowers and air knives in order to create the optimal solution for each individual application. We can design, fabricate, and integrate an application specific system including:

Our tools can handle an array of tasks, use them to:
- Strip away moisture, oil, or debris from virtually any surface
- Sterilize conveyors, testing supplies, or containers prior to filling
- Dry containers inside or out prior to packaging or printing
- Remove cold fill bottle condensation for better labelling and packaging results
- Dry printing ink and various coatings
- Laminate cardboard layers
- Activate hot melt adhesive
- Prevent corrosion under tabs of aluminum and steel cans
- Eliminate moisture under lids to prevent rust or mould from developing
- Dry and sterilize bottle corks
- Shrink safety rings onto jars, caps onto bottles, or sleeves onto cans
- Ensure proper ink jet coding on can bottoms with fewer rejects
- Blow-off water prior to visual inspection stations to ensure an accurate read
