STANMECH chooses from a suite of equipment including Leister’s range of hot air heaters, blowers, and hot air hand tools, JetAir’s range of direct-drive blowers and air knives in order to create the optimal solution for each individual application. We can design, fabricate, and integrate an application specific system including:

• Remove moisture and contaminants such as oil or debris
• Blow out residual water after washing
• Pre-heat parts before entering a furnace
• Burn out polystyrene cores from casting moulds
• Pre-heat adhesives to activate them for lamination

• Heat plastic panels for thermoforming, conditioning, or riveting
• Use heated air to form plastics and paper products
• Heat up coated sheet metal for better forming

• Anneal glass, plastic parts, poly-carbonate bottles, automobile headlights, etc.
• Heat only the surface of a product (e.g., to write on elastic rubber bands)
• Remove flash from moulded parts
• Cure and accelerate bonding
• Dry printing ink, clay, latex, solvent, or silicon coatings
• Heat up parts to aid in assembly
• Shrink plastic sleeves, sheets, etc.
