Laser Welding Technology
We provide complete laser solutions from the selection of the appropriate laser technique through to the optimization of prototype parts in our applications labs to the integration of our joining processes into your production environment. We offer four complete Novolas laser welding systems to meet the application needs of our customers. A simple and cost-effective model, the NOVOLAS™ BASIC allows for integration into a manufacturing system with its own process control. Various mutually matched components for beam generation, as well as optics modules and fiber optic cables, are available for selection. The laser beam is routed directly via the module or via fiber optic cables. The compact housing contains all necessary components. An all-modular, all-purpose system: the NOVOLAS OEM for advanced integration and the NOVOLAS WS (Workstation) for a partially automated manual workstation (NOVOLAS WS). The central supply unit serves both. It contains all components necessary for processing and is ready for connection of all options. You can therefore select any additional components necessary and useful for your process. The software provided is matched to the system and process. It includes all process control and monitoring modules required and is designed for integration of additional options and accessories. A special mask welding system with supreme precision, the NOVOLAS™ MICRO welds fine structures as narrow as 100 µm. Any imaginable shape can be welded with a positioning accuracy down to 2 µm. Masks can be exchanged with ease, allowing for high flexibility. NOVOLAS™ MICRO can be operated as a manual workstation or integrated for mass production.
